Champagny en Vanoise – a charming authentic savoyard village with a ‘bubbly’ name which is perched on a sunny , southerly slope and which inhabited all year round.

two resorts, two altitudes, two characters:

• Champagny – this village resort lies at 1250m, its  shops and commerces are of traditional architecture and it has a xvii century baroque church as its centrepiece.  there is a cablecar lift that takes skiers to the southern slopes of la plagne (alt. 2000m à 3000m) in just 8mins.
• Five kilomètres higher up at 1450m is the hidden treasure of le vallon de champagny le haut . a classified site of natural beauty, le vallon lies on the edges of the vanoise national park. this is the place for nordic skiing  with unparallelled  opportunities for cross-country skiing, sledding, snow shoeing,walking, and ice-climbing in the most stunning of environments.

The ski area will open from the 17th Decembre 2011 to 29th April 2012.
